A specialty food and drink harvest is what you can expect at Our Harvest in Fenwick Island, a must-visit for culinary enthusiasts venturing anywhere in Delmarva.  With a dynamic and often-changing menu offering innovative seasonable farm-to-table small dishes, the open kitchen yearns to deliver, and so does the service.   Our Harvest entrees include ‘feasts,’ family-style dishes prepared as if crafted for the discerning individual diner, including its locally-famous Arnold Palmer brined chicken, maybe the best chicken feast north of Virginia.  But a wonderful bird is not its signature dish; Our Harvest has among the most innovative menus in Delaware, and while there are not enough seafood options for a restaurant located only steps from the ocean, the variety of large and small plates, usually shared, combine to make a memorable culinary evening, no matter what you order. In our many visits, we leave with a deep sense of contentment at the end of each meal, lingering over the question of when to schedule another reservation, especially to enjoy the special peach feast dessert, only offered for two summer months.

The space is warehouse contemporary, not designed to dazzle because that is the role of the food; indeed, what is intriguing and fun about Our Harvest is that it applies rigor not to the space, but in the opposite direction, to food and service. Beware your purse, however, as Our Harvest trends expensive, especially when its creative cocktails are included, but the food and comfort service warrant the reach, especially given how well patrons are welcomed and treated by the best-in-class staff. 

Our Harvest is part of Ocean City’s Liquid Assets and Annabelle’s BBQ group of owners, a professional team dedicated to service and consistency in excellence.  Open year-round but only for dinner, Our Harvest knows its customers, and treats everyone the same: with attention to detail while rewarding your greatest culinary demands and curiosity.  If we ranked Delmarva restaurants, Our Harvest would be in the conversation among our favorites.  But we just dine, enjoy, and review – subjective rankings are for the discerning individual customer, and with the increased transactional migration of chefs and managers, combined with an uneven seasonal workforce, restaurant rankings become stale almost as quickly as they are published.  Alas, Our Harvest has proven itself largely immune to those shifting restaurant oppressing ingredients, establishing itself as a local heavyweight among the best of Delmarva.
